Catelyn is a recurring character and survivor in The Last Ones. She is introduced as a newcomer to Victoria, who is six months pregnant and appears to be keeping a secret. She later gives birth to a healthy baby boy.
Pre-Apocalypse[]
Details about Catelyn's early life and life before the apocalypse are completely unknown other than she fell pregnant sometime before undead pandemic started.
Post Apocalypse[]
Pre-Appearance[]
Little to nothing is known about what happened to Catelyn during the early days of the apocalypse other than at some point she was involved in a car accident and became stuck under a car just as a horde of zombies approached. She was rescued by Zahra, who wasn't willing to help until Catelyn revealed she was pregnant.
Catelyn and Zahra spent many weeks on the road together, where Zahra acted as a protector to her and the unborn baby. Eventually,the two end up in Summerlyn City.
Season Two[]
Trouble Brewing[]
Catelyn and Zahra approach Victoria, a safe-town. They're allowed in by Steph, who tells them to keep their weapons at their side. The leader Alexis Norton welcomes them to the complex and tells them they will both have to under-go a strip search in order to check they're not infected. Catelyn appears taken aback, but agrees.
The doctor Richard Coleman attempts to conduct a strip-search of Zahra, but she refuses, only agreeing when Catelyn says she would prefer a female to perform the check. Steph agrees to do it. After they step behind the curtain, Coleman prepares to check Catelyn, but she asks if she can confide in him. She also promises him to agree that before he reacts, he give her a chance to explain as she has her baby to think about after all. Coleman appears unsure, but agrees and tells her he's listening. Catelyn then tells Coleman a secret he later shares with pathologist Michael Lewis. Zahra is aware of this secret.
Later, Catelyn tells Zahra she thought Alexis came across as power-hungry to her but considering she's set up a committee, she may have misjudged her. Zahra merely responds with "we'll see." The ladies are approached by Coleman, who wishes to talk to Catelyn alone. She tells him that Zahra "knows," meaning they can talk in front of her. Coleman says he has spoken to Michael and that he wishes to talk to Catelyn when the time is right and he also felt that what Catelyn disclosed to Coleman should be kept discreet from everybody else, including Alexis as Michael isn't sure what she would do if she found out. Catelyn agrees. After Coleman departs, Zahra asks if they can be trusted. Catelyn says Michael and Coleman seem look good men. Zahra admits it's not them she's worried about.
Last Orders[]
Some days later, Catelyn has a talk with Michael in her lab regarding her secret. Michael tells Catelyn he is at a loss for words. Catelyn says Coleman assured her she and her unborn baby will be safe in Victoria. Michael tells her that is the case. When Catelyn asks if he will tell Alexis the secret, he says no as she has a lot on her mind and it's something he thinks they should keep to themselves.
Later, Catelyn and Zahra are presumably inside their house and out of harm's way as Lorna infiltrates the complex and allows dozens of undead inside.
The Stand[]
Catelyn is alarmed when Lorna enters her house to look for Alexis. She tells Lorna she doesn't know where Alexis is and can't risk lying to her because she's pregnant. Lorna apologises and says her baby is going to die as no child can survive in this world. She then expresses how it feels to lose a child and suggests Catelyn just take her own life as it will be the kindest thing. Catelyn is horrified. Zahra, who has overheard, enters the room and angrily tells Lorna to leave.
Later, Jenson reveals Lorna killed Michael. Catelyn is troubled by his death.
Seconds Out[]
The following day, Catelyn attends the funerals for the dead Victorians. During a leadership vote that night, Catelyn votes for Howie. Just then, Blaine and his people enter and he reveals a new way of life for the residents as Alexis is now head of a dictatorship.
Stranger at the Door[]
Almost four months later, Catelyn gives birth to a healthy baby after being two weeks overdue and in labour for twenty hours. Catelyn tells Zahra she was right: it's a boy. Zahra smiles. Coleman reveals Alexis is on her way over. Alexis congratulates Catelyn and asks if he has a name. Catelyn says she had a girls picked out, but hasn't decided on one for a boy. Alexis says he's a little history maker as he's the first baby to be born in Victoria. She decides to have a feast in the town later to celebrate. After she leaves, Trudy says it was a nice gesture, but Catelyn points out she didn't do it for the baby. Trudy asks what Zahra thinks, but she says nothing and walks away. Catelyn jokes that's more than she ever gets out of her.
No Democracy[]
Catelyn is present as Blaine has Paul beaten in the middle of town for stealing from the pantry. When Bernadette plans an escape attempt and tries to recruit Catelyn and Zahra, Catelyn refuses to be a part of it, but Zahra manages to change her mind later when they discover Blaine has kidnapped young Shannon to try and scare Bernadette into submission. Catelyn is wracked with anxiety and isn't sure she can go ahead with the plan. Zahra calmly replies she will be there. This reassures Catelyn, who says she and the baby wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for her. She says if Zahra thinks it's the right thing to do then she's with her every step of the way. Catelyn tells Zahra she should speak more as she has a nice voice. A disgruntled Zahra leaves the room. Catelyn says to herself she took it too far.
The plan goes awry and Catelyn is shot in the leg by Steve. An enraged Zahra beats Steve to death with her cane. Catelyn is taken to Coleman for medical treatment while Zahra is imprisoned in a basement alongside Jasmin and Trudy.
Let No Man Put Asunder[]
When Catelyn struggles to recover from her injuries, Coleman receives help from visitor Noah Ashby when Catelyn goes into shock. Coleman thanks Noah for his help and says he got the bullet out of Catelyn's leg but she's still bleeding. Noah tells him to step outside for some air. Later, Alexis is told by Coleman that Catelyn is still bleeding and he needs to ask around town for more blood. Alexis orders him to let her go as she's wasted enough resources as it is. She then says she will raise her baby.
Catelyn wakes just after Coleman administers a drug that will euthanize her. He somberly says he doesn't want her to suffer. Knowing she is going to die, Catelyn requests that Zahra raise her son and begs for the secret she confided in him and Michael about when she arrived at the complex to remain a secret. Coleman promises. Catelyn then goes to tell Coleman what to name her son, but she passes away.

Coleman reveals Catelyn's secret to Alexis: both Catelyn and Stephen survived turning after she was bitten: meaning they are both immune.
